Pleasure bags are huge, and match weights so good that White Acres is renowned for high profile festivals thanks to the quality of the sport and accomodation on offer. White Acres hosts the Van den Eynde festival, Drennan International Junior and Preston Innovations Intermediate festivals.
Constantly being improved following feedback from customers winter 2007/2008 has seen all the venues re-pegged, islands trimmed and tidied, plus the tackle shop re-furbished to make it easier to find the big name products you need.
No longer offering touring facilities extensive landscaping has added new owners pitches behind Trelawney Lake, many of which have already been snapped up. Fox Glove Meadow will house 10 New England Style Lodge Homes, all with lake views, sun decks, private landscaped gardens and double parking bays - availability is limited with just 6 for immediate sale. Sycamore Forest is the second development for 2008 offering 34 luxury pitches for two and three Bedroom Holiday Homes, all with private gardens and parking. The Lakes
feature day baggin pollawynJenny’s at five acres has 54 pleasure pegs offering carp to 18 lb, tench to 6 lb, bream, crucians, roach, perch and rudd. Trelawney at 32 pegs has smaller carp to 6 lb, bream to 3 lb plus roach and perch. Python is a smaller snake lake with carp to 2 lb and numbers of crucians, goldfish, tench, bream and silvers. Pollawyn holds the complex match record with a 215 lb haul and 100 lb-plus bags are common. Heavy tackle is needed for carp that go to 15 lb plus good tench, crucians, bream, roach rudd and perch. Sycamore and Eery are smaller at 1.5 acres and 0.8 acres, respectively, both offering busy sport with carp averaging 7-8 lb. Pat’s and pleasureNelson’s are the specimen lakes. Nelson’s is smaller with 45 carp from 13 to 25 lb including cracking ghosts in just one acre. Pat’s has a colossal 350 carp from 10 to 28 lb and catfish to over 51 lb in just over two acres. Twin Oaks, Acorn and Canal are smaller venues, all offering a far bank or island margin, ideal for the pole angler. Fish are smaller with match weights to around 60 lb, all stuffed with carp, tench, skimmers and roach. Offsite are a further three lakes, Bolingey, Meadowside and Oakside, offering a variety of fishing from carp approaching 20 lb plus tench, bream, roach, perch and rudd.

FISHERY RULES:
 
  • To fish you must hold a current NRA licence
  • Landing nets are compulsory on all lakes.
  • Keepnets are only permitted on White Acres matches and you must provide your own.
  • Adults are classed as those aged 16 and over for pricing.
  • Children who need to fish with an adult are free but once at an age where they are competent to fish alone they will be charged as listed. (please check when booking)
  • OAP's and juniors (15 or under) get half price.
  • No discount for disabled unless staying in wheelchair friendly accommodation.
  • Unfortunately we do not currently offer specimen permits (weekly or daily) or our weekly gold permits to touring customers.
